The Estate 02

The photos below are by professional photographer and estate resident, Kevin Percival. Kevin currently balances his time between photographing for the Science Museum, various charities and working on personal documentary projects. I felt Wornington Word was a really important project for me to be involved with. London moves so fast, so many estates are being demolished - or forever changed - every year. Without projects like this we would lose so much social history. It’s excellent that the residents have been so involved in recording this history. I’ve lived on the estate longer than I’ve lived anywhere else, in my adult life. It was a privilege to be part of the project, meeting all these people and helping tell stories.”
